This website provides unique case studies from across the world, all focused on the design and construction of urban blue spaces including fountains, lakes, rivers, canals, and coastlines. Each project has either won a design competition, been a recipient of a prize or award, or else been critically reviewed in the professional or academic press and often featured on other websites.

These case studies provide inspiration for urban planners and designers, offering fine examples of how to promote quality blue spaces that can benefit public health and the environment. We will be adding projects on a regular basis, so please check back from time to time.
